Yes you can use the internet if you got a wifi. But for some reason I was using the wifi in class due to the poor T-mobile network inside and could not install some apps. They stopped installing until later on when I used the T-mobile data plan. I am not sure but this is what happened. Other than that, I could browse.

i just got a mytouch.i heard it has wayyyy better battery. and i feel like it has a pretty good one.lasted a whole day with like40 percent yet.and i was playing with it all day long!!

is it mandatory to have an internet connection on this phone like the blackberry 8900 and if not, can you use the internet if you have wifi for free? please let me know ASAP. im hoping to get this phone. thanks
