cool video-worst phone i ever had-been back twice for the camera lens scratch issue, screen freeze and not repsonsive, and now been back for no gps signal for 3 repairs. Still they dont swap or update it. I now have problem wehere after pcsuite update it keeps disconnecting my phone. soft and hard reste does not work also (

Just get the latest firmware, install task manager, and its fine. Any other problem ask me and i will tell you the solution.

@CorrectionPen : Im having all that problems too, the internet browser is a turtle and crashes everytime, I installed Opera and it works fast and doesnt crash… also Im having a lot of problems with the camera flash (it screws me the photos)

this phone is so useless. fukin the processor of the phone is so slow. a simple task just going on internet, crash/freeze most of the time.

i have widgets problem and the camera cover scratches the lens? WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING A COVER IF THE COVER SCRATCHES THE LENS??? the silver chrome rims around the phone is so easily scratch too.

Lastly, the video player is GREAT but cant play all format. only mp4 H.264. kinda piss off to convert all format.

I had the same problem, but I fixed. I think so .. I use *#7370# and thet all. Now works camera.

the N97 is basically an expensive mistake if you buy it.. fm transmitter, which is a joke if your ariel is at the back of your car, NO INTERNET RADIO, widgets which crash, not that there are any good ones on OVI anyway. CPU that is slow, i.e. I can’t use a downloaded internet radio player with any other application open as the processor can’t handle it! lousy phone, and to think I have only ever had Nokia’s…. NOKIA YOU HAVE DISSAPOINTED ME!

Wow, I’m really sorry to see this. My N97, RM-507, has been great aside from the camera lens scratches. I just wish Nokia kept a few things the same as the N95. Get that straightened out. I don’t know what the 3 network is doing to that phone but the unlocked version for the US is good.

I had the same problem both with msn and skype and i am also with 3 network. I found a way to fix it though. I deleted the original applications and i downloaded compatible ones from the internet on my pc. Put them on the n97 and now works perfectly. Hope this helps.

did you installa any 3rd party application which damadged your phone?

mine works really well, got it a week back and havent had any problems with it so far

Man, don’t bother with this anymore. What you need to do is get a Samsung i8910 sim free… It’s a much better phone without all the Nokia bloat, and also it WORKS. Which is kinda nice.

i don’t have any problems with my Nokia N97. I have the update to.
How do you make the update, on the Phone or with USB and you PC. I do it with the PC. Maybe is this the Problem.
