iphone Battery Indicator on all iphones and ipod Touches!

here is a file for the hack without a jailbreak! just restore to the file. iphone 2g = www.megaupload.com iphone 3g = coming soon Yeah! i was posted on gizmodo! go check it out. EDIT: ipod touches need to edit a different file. This video just works with iphones. The principle is the same. just a different edit.sorry about the portrait video, and if your on windows a good plist editor would be plist editor for windows. its more fun when you do it yourself isnt it? This is a how to video explaining the procedure needed to get the so-called exclusive batter percentage indicator, present on the iphone 3gs, on all iphone and ipod Touch devices.sbsettings makes your device unstable and sluggish. This doesnt. Thats all folks. iphone 3G = n82ap.plist iphone 1st gen = m68ap.plist im not responsible for damages you might cause during this procedure, especially while is ssh (cough)

Just download SBsetting from cydia and then go onto more and slide to select numerical battery and it will show just like on the 3GS.

So I downloaded cuteftp8, which I used before on an ipod touch, but I can’t get it to connect to my 3g. The remote host actively refused the attempt to connect to it.All the previous steps are covered, I enter all the correct info, but I get the following errors
The remote host actively refused the attempt to connect to it.
or it will say the username/password is incorrect… any suggestions?

well thats a bit harder because the ipod touch 2g does not have a usage menu under general in the settings app. i don have an ipt, but ive heard of people getting it to work by editing another file. google “battery percentage on ipod touch” and click the mac rumors one titled “ipod touch battery percentage (like 3gs)”.

what file do i need to edit to enable this on the ipod touch 2g?

  22. trackrunner908 Says:

Well actually the n82ap (3g) includes the m68ap(2g) file. So in theory you could edit the 2g and it would be included in the 3g. Anyways glad it worked for you!

  23. dubjo70 Says:

Hey thanks for that! I only had one problem and I figured it out pretty quickly though. The M68AP file is the correct file for both generations.
