Quick GPS HTC Touch HD Question?

I recently purchased HTC Touch HD. There is a Quick GPS which updates automatically every week whenever the data expires. My question is how can i use this GPS. Should i need to install any program to get the directions or what?

you will need a map to use the gps feature. google maps is a free app. that is windows mobile compatible and easy to install.
