Does anyone know if the HTC Touch HD will be functional on AT&T data networks? I’m planning on purchasing one unlocked once it hits the UK market (since it’s no longer slated for a proper US release) and would like to (if possible) make use of the e-mail and web browser features.

BTW: The HTC Touch HD does support:
– Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900)
– Dual band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (UMTS 900, UMTS 2100)

Outside of EDGE, I’m not certain AT&T has networks compatible with these.
