How much internet is 3GB on a HTC Hero Mobile?

I am about to buy a T-mobile G2 Touch (the same as a HTC Hero).
The deal includes 3GB of internet data allowance(Web ‘n’ Walk) per month.
I was just wondering how much this actually is?
How much internet can I use per day with this much allowance? Does youtube require more data? If so, how much youtube can I use?
Emails etc
Any help would be appreciated.

Its hard to say. Tbh, i would pay the extra £5 a month and get the unlimited deal. But thats me.
Basically, sites use varying amounts. Txt documents not much, pictures a bit, and videos and flash content loads. If you You tubed for an hour a day, you would easily use 3gig in 4 weeks. General web surfing maybe 2 hours a day, but remember your Hero is default set to being on the web constantly, so your always using a low level amount of web-time, as all your apps update etc. And going over your allowance is insanely expensive.
