does this guy really work for cnet ? this could possibly be the worst “review” i have seen for a cell phone. going all over the place with “uh” and “umm” as well as conveniently skipping over the more technical features. cnet, if youre looking for new people, send me an email.

i’m on tmobile, but for some reason i respect what apple has done on the iphone, that thing changed the game, even the soul called 3mp camera looks stunning on that glass screen, well all i’m waiting for is the htc hd2. hmmnn hmmnn hmmmnn i still wanna text normally on my cell phone.

But it’s coming out on Verizon sometime this spring…or so i’ve heard. :D

Also, i dont know if the guy said this (so…many…ums…) but if you put an AT&T sim card in the Nexus, you can only use AT&T’s EDGE, not their entire 3g…i think. maybe this will be fixed. maybe not.

ok so in this text im going to tell you the big differences between the iphone and the nexus one. First the nexus one does have a better processor running at 1 ghz while the iphone only runs at 600mhz. the nexus has a 5 mp camera with led flash vs the small 3 mp on the iphone 3gs. The screen is bigger on the nexus is thinner then the iphone. Also the sweet thing is which is hugely safe you can type text on the nexus with your voice which is safe for driving. Finally no multi-touch on the nexus.

@timarnold000 Yeah but it has ten times the apps and a better touch screen and it will always have better apps and games because of it’s touch screen. Try playing Call of Duty without multi touch idiot.

  14. prooc Says:

@timarnold000 It has a multi touch screen, which means that it’s always going to have better games and apps because the screen is more versatile.

Correction… I have an iPhone and it has only 1.3 MP, not 3 MP. I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever for a phone better than the iPhone to come out, and finally, here it is!

Only GSM networks. An unlocked Nexus would only work on T-mobile and AT&T. Verizon and Sprint are not GSM networks.

  17. timarnold000 Says:

No Sprint has there own version but its the Droid version not the Nexus… T-mobile as a plan of 99.99 dollars for unlimited everything… and you pay 179.99 I believe for the phone.
I called sprints tech support and they stated the phone will work on there network but you will have to pay the full price for the phone directly from google

The only thing the Iphone has that is better in hardware is more memory (16 GB’s) and secI’m not knocking the iphone because its a great phone(The browser works great) but this phone has more “POWER CAPTAIN” ondly More Apps… Its been out longer.

  19. timarnold000 Says:

Correction Goops… Does the iphone have a 1Ghz Quadcomm Processor? Ummm No… it only has a 600 Mhz Processor… Secondly, Does the iphone have a 5 Mega Pixal Camera? Ummm, No again! It only has a 3 Mega Pixal Camera… Thirdly, can the iPhone multitask… Meaning opening up more than one app at a time… Again, the answer is no!

@theloniousMac Yeah… And the user has to explicitly enable non-market apps. So or the user is really stupid, or it’s a mac-user.
